Johnson averaged 27 points per game while shooting 63% from the field during the week ending December 18, helping UNOH pick up back-to-back wins over Ohio Christian (85-82) and Taylor (83-80). His week was highlighted by a near perfect 36-point performance against Taylor in which he shot 86% from the field (12-14), the second best performance in program history. Johnson also matched his career high from long-range in the game knocking down seven of nine three pointers, the program's fourth best, while converting all five free throw attempts.

Johnson was named WHAC Player of the Week, becoming the first Racer to win the award since 2019-20. He is averaging 19.4 points per game this season and shooting 51% from outside, both second best in the conference.
