LIMA, OH - UNOH men's soccer improved their overall winning percentage almost 20% from 2024 to 2025 going from .526 a year ago to .700 this season. The Racers also increased their conference winning percentage 15% going from .625 to .773 this season upgrading their conference standing from fifth to third.
The Racers averaged 3.35 goals per game, a program record, with a +2.2 scoring margin which is the program's best since 2016. As a team, UNOH racked up 175 total points averaging 8.8 per game with 67 goals and 41 assists, all the program's most since 2016. The season also included the program's best conference start since 2018 opening 7-0 versus WHAC opponents outscoring them 41-3 during that stretch.
Eguzki Hashimoto became the first men's soccer player to net four times in a single match doing so in 9-2 drubbing of UM-Dearborn on September 20 and earning NAIA Offensive Player of the Week honors for his efforts, just the third all-time and first since 2016. Hashimoto was quickly followed by Michel Tentchou who repeated that feat in an 11-1 rout of Defiance just ten days later while adding an assist for a record setting nine-point outing, the program's most ever in a game. It was Tentchou's second hat trick of the season doing so in back-to-back matches becoming the first men's player to net three times twice in the same season.
In his ninth season at the helm, head coach Tyler Brock picked up his 100th victory at UNOH and now stands with a 104-46-32 record with the program.
Four Racers were named All-WHAC First Team, the program's most since 2019, highlighted by the program's first Newcomer of the Year since 2019 with two more landing second team honors
UNOH was also well represented academically with an incredible 21 athletes being named to the WHAC All-Academic team more than doubling the program's previous record. Also, in it's previous 13 years of existence, the program had just five total NAIA Scholar Athletes but almost tripled that number in 2025 alone placing a remarkable 14 student-athletes on the list.
