The UNOH Sports Medicine Staff would like to welcome YOU to the University of Northwestern Ohio!

Athletic training facilities and services available to visiting teams

Main Athletic Training Room	Located 1390 N. Cable Rd.	Available for daily treatments for UNOH students only unless prior arrangements
Volleyball & Basketball Training Room	Located in the 200 building in the back hallway	Available for pregame heat and taping.
Soccer & Softball	Located between the soccer and softball complex.	Available for pregame heat and taping.
Tennis & Baseball	No athletic training room on site.	No pregame heat available.

 

• An athletic trainer will be onsite for all home, in season, volleyball, soccer, basketball, baseball, and softball competitions.
• An athletic trainer will be onsite for all home WHAC tennis matches. Nonconference matches will not have coverage.
• All home JV in season WHAC competitions will have athletic trainers on site. Non WHAC events will not have an AT present.

 

We are more than happy to assist your teams with taping and treatments but ask that teams bring their own

taping and medical supplies. We require all athletes who wish to be taped have an email sent prior to competition or letter from their AT with them.

 

Medical equipment and supplies on site

• Volleyball and Basketball—water coolers, ice, heat, AED, crutches, splint bag, & first aid supplies.
• Baseball and outdoor tennis— water coolers, ice, AED, crutches, splint bag, & first aid supplies.
• Soccer and Softball—water coolers, ice, heat, AED, crutches, splint bag, & first aid supplies.
• Indoor Tennis—ice, AED, crutches, & first aid supplies.

We ask that all team bring their own water bottles and sweat towels to competition with them.

If a player is injured during an event, the athletic trainer will assist your medical staff or coaches to render first aid. The UNOH athletic trainer will give a professional opinion, help arrange transportation, provide maps, phone numbers and make referrals, if needed.
