LIMA, OH - It was a hard-fought match to end the regular season with UNOH hanging tough against (RV) Indiana Tech in the Garage.
Momentum swung back and fourth throughout the night with the Warriors stealing game one 25-21 and UNOH responding 25-22 in game two. Despite a strong effort by the Racers, Indiana Tech was able to fend them off in the final two games, 25-21, 25-22 to take the match 3-1.
Abigail Martin led with 15 points putting down 13 kills with a solo block and two assisted. Gianna San Filippo finished with 14 points on eleven kills, two block assists and one solo.
Savanna Reed added 19 assists to her career tally pushing her over 2,000 career assists, just the fourth player to reach that mark. Madelyn Hampton recorded 18 assists with 13 digs for her eleventh of the year and sixth in the last nine matches. Bailey Gregory led the team with 20 digs while Alli Lopez added ten.
With the regular season behind them, UNOH now prepares for post season play for the first time in the Kreiner Era. The Racers will head back to Siena Heights for the second time in a week for the First Round of the WHAC Tournament on Wednesday, November 13.
