
Volleyball Wins in Five at Rochester
ROCHESTER HILLS, MI - UNOH volleyball battled with Rochester Christian Friday winning the first two sets and losing the next two before finishing off the night with another fifth set win.
UNOH won set one 25-22 and set two 25-18 hitting .268 with just seven errors over the two games. The Warriors rebounded in sets three and four winning 25-18 and 25-20 to force a decisive game five. The Racers gave up the first point of the set, but they didn't trail again running out to a 15-11 win to take the match 3-2. UNOH is now 4-1 in five set matches this season.
Shamyria DuBose led the team with a season high 14 kills hitting .263 with four block assists for a team high 16 points. Gianna San Filippo and Abigail Martin chipped in nine and eight kills, respectively, with Hannah Colquitt hitting .412 adding seven. Madelyn Hampton recorded her seventh double-double logging 21 assists and 14 digs while Savanna Reed added 19 assists. WHAC leader Bailey Gregory led all players with 31 digs, her third 30+ outing of the year.
After a quick turnaround, UNOH will head to The Don to take on Lawrence Tech on Saturday at 2:00 PM.
