
Women's Soccer Heads to Campbellsville for NAIA First & Second Rounds
KANSAS CITY, MO - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the teams and matchups for the 2024 NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship. The 40-team field will begin with the NAIA National Championship First & Second Rounds at 16 campus locations around the country on November 21-23. The field includes 26 automatic bids and 14 at-large selections.
UNOH earned an automatic bid after finishing runners-up in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Tournament falling on penalty kicks in the championship to No. 5 Aquinas on Wednesday, November 13. The Racers will head to the Campbellsville Bracket hosted by Campbellsville University beginning Thursday, November 21. As the two-seed, UNOH will have a first-time matchup against LSU-Shreveport with the top-seeded Tigers awaiting the winner on Saturday, November 23 for a trip to Pensacola, Florida.

#6 Campbellsville University Tigers (17-1-1)
The Tigers finished as the regular season runners-up in the Mid-South Conference (MSC) going 5-1-0 in league play with their only blemish coming to defending National Champion No. 1 Cumberlands, 1-0. They fell in the MSC Semifinals to Cumberland 5-4 on penalty kicks but earned an at-large bid to the NAIA Tournament.

#24 University of Northwestern Ohio Racers (13-3-4)
UNOH ended the regular season second in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) at 10-1-1 earning an automatic bid to the NAIA Tournament as the WHAC Tournament runners-up. The Racers finished 1-1 in the championship match and lost on penalty kicks (3-2) to No. 5 Aquinas who had already clinched an automatic bid as the WHAC Regular Season champions.

(RV) Louisiana State University - Shreveport Pilots (15-4-1)
The Pilots earned an automatic bid after winning the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Regular Season title going 12-1-0 with their only blemish coming against (RV) Xavier (La.), 4-2. LSUS fell in the RRAC Semifinals to LSU Alexandria, 3-1.
