LIMA, OH - UNOH wasted no time taking control of their Senior Day matchup against Cleary to end the regular season needing less than 15 minutes to score their first four goals coasting to a 7-0 win.
Natalia Lima led the day scoring twice and assisting three times for seven points in the match. Vivian Purmonen also netted a brace, her second of the season, and Nanna Rosengreen scored once and assisted once. Chloe Fecher and Janne Frauenpreiss both notched their fifth goal of the season with Minni Laukka adding her seventh assist.
The Racers outshot Cleary 23-4 allowing just one shot on goal and putting 16 of their own on target.
Sophia Eisner (10-3-3) earned the win after 45 minutes in front of goal but wasn't needed. Silje Eikeland finished out the second 45 making one save.
With the regular season in the books, UNOH will look to defend their 2023 WHAC Tournament title as the No. 2-seed when postseason play begins next week. Seven-seeded Indiana Tech will visit Racer Stadium Wednesday, November 6 for a WHAC Quarterfinal matchup at 2:00 PM.
