Blazquez Bags First Player of the Week Award

For the third time in three weeks, Northwestern Ohio women's soccer has earned a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Player of the Week award. This week it was Patricia Blazquez picking up her first Offensive POTW honors after scoring four total goals last week, including her first career hat trick in record setting fashion.

Blazquez helped decide the team's 5-0 win over Cleary early with a hat trick in the first eight minutes of the game, the fastest in program history (7:57). From goal one to goal three just three minutes and five seconds of game time ellapsed, also the fastest in program history. Blazquez took over the team's lead in goals scored (6) by adding one more in a 3-0 win over Cornerstone on Saturday.

The Racers have outscored their opponents 18-2 in their last six matches.
