
Three-Hole Playoff Gives Binyahya Fourth Win, Racers Place Fifth
WINONA LAKE, IN - As a team, UNOH women's golf came in fifth at the Stonehenge Invitational on Monday, but once again Sharifah Binyahya brought home the individual medal edging out the win on the third playoff hole. UNOH shot 348 and 338 over the the two rounds for a 686 total.
After shooting 76 in round one, Binyahya carded her third sub-par round of the fall with a 2-under 69 to finish with a 145 (+3) for the day, matching the program's third lowest 36-hole event. Kenadie Daeger shot an 85 in round one and a season low 84 in round two for a 169.
Kayla Watkings went 91, 93 and Riley Daeger finished 96, 92 to score a 184 and 188, respectively. Grace Weikle rounded out the team scoring with a 227.
UNOH will play one more fall event when they travel to Sylvania for the Gray Wolf Invitational October 14.
