Daeger and Brigante Named NAIA Scholar-Athletes

KANSAS CITY, MO - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the list of 2024 Daktronics NAIA Women's Golf Scholar-Athletes. Student-Athletes must have achieved and maintained at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale at their institution, must appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport and must have attended one full year at said institution.

 

UNOH women's golf has produced at least one Scholar-Athlete every year since 2016 and continued that streak in 2024 adding two more to their long list of honorees. For the first time since 2021, and just the third time ever, more than one Racer earned their second Scholar-Athlete award in the same season with Rafaella Brigante and Wayne Trace product Kenadie Daeger receiving the honor.

 

Racers earning the award:

Rafaella Brigante (2nd), Senior, Accouting Major from Guayaquil, Ecuador

Kenadie Daeger (2nd), Junior, Sport Marketing & Management Major from Payne, Ohio
