
Men Rally, Wagner Tops Women as Racers Sweep OBC #4
COLUMBUS, OH - For the first time in the history of bowling at UNOH, the Racers swept an entire event bringing home both the men's and women's titles as well as finishing on top of the JV Men's standings at the Ohio Bowling Conference #4.
Heading into the final 16 baker games, the UNOH men trailed by 390 pins but stormed back to erase the deficit and take the top spot by 39 over Robert Morris.
RJ Lewis finished second in the field of 176 bowlers with an individual total of 893 and a tournament average of 223.3. Lewis was the top bowler in on the JV side helping UNOH top the ten-team JV standings by 83 pins. Matthew Richards was the top Varisty finisher for the Racers sitting 17th with an 831 total and a 207.8 tournament average.
The women's team held off the field of 16 teams to win their side by 89 pins over Muskingum. It's just the second OBC title for the women's program and first since Ohio Bowling Conference #4 on March 13, 2021.
Mckenzie Wagner topped 132 bowlers for her second career individual title. Wagner ran away from the field with a 902 total, 107 pins ahead of second place, and finished with a tournament average of 225.5 as the only player over 200.
