Smalto Named WHAC Player of the Week

Florian Smalto of UNOH men's tennis has been voted the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Player of the Week after going 4-0 in all matches last week.

Smatlo helped his team to a 2-0 week with 7-0 wins over both Lourdes and Concordia dropping just three sets of 39 played.

The freshman started the week with a 6-1 win in No. 2 doubles with teammate Jacob Ramirez before finishing off No. 1 singles 6-2, 6-0. Smalto then went a perfect 18-0 against Concordia taking No. 1 doubles 6-0 with Mete Koseoglu and No. 2 singles 6-0, 6-0.
