WHAC Announces Men's Golf All-Conference Honors

In conjunction with the men's championship tournament, the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced the 2024-25 Men's Golf All-Conference Honors.

Northwestern Ohio's Jose Luis Vargas was named the WHAC Newcomer of the Year after a stellar first season with the Racers. The Santa Cruz, Bolivia native led the team with a 72.21 average this year earning five top five and seven top ten finishes in ten events. Vargas also picked up All-WHAC First Team honors. 

Guillermo Garron, Oliver Rogers and Luke Turner joined Vargas on the First Team. It is the third first team honor for Turner with Garron and Rogers earning a spot for the first time.

The WHAC also announced the recipients of All-Academic honors as Carter Schimmoeller was named for the second time and Adrian Martin picked up his first.

Oscar Lind was named as the team's representative on the WHAC Champions of Character Team
