Garron Claims His First Golfer of the Week Award

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has named Northwestern Ohio's Guillermo Garron the Men's Golfer of the Week for the week ending October 6.

Garron won his first career individual medal at the WHAC Fall Preview last week helping his Racers run away from the field by 31 strokes. Garron shot a career best 3-under 68 in round one followed by back-to-back rounds of 1-under 70 to finish with a a 5-under 208 tying the program's second best 54-hole tournament.

Garron's three sub-par rounds give him a team high five this season averaging 72.91 with two top five and three top ten finishes.
