
Men's Golf Adds Signee to 2021 Class
The University of Northwestern Ohio Men's Golf Team is proud to announce the signing of Thomas Pritchett from Southgate School in Middlesex, England. Pritchett is the 2020 Junior Club Captain at Enfield Golf Club and plays for the Enfield Golf Clubs Junior 1rst team, Enfield's Men's Scratch team, and the Middlesex County U18 county team. Pritchett is no stranger to big tournament success having won the 2018 Middlesex County Order of Merit, qualified for the Junior European Open in 2019, and advanced to the Junior European Open Finals in Spain finishing in the top 40. He is the reigning Enfield Junior Club Champion having won back-to-back Junior Club Championships in 2019 and 2020 and won the Enfield Golf Clubs Order of Merit in 2020.
"We are very excited to add another hard-working student athlete such as Thomas Pritchett to our Racer Golf Family" said Coach Eric West. With a career low score of 68 and a current handicap index of 2, Pritchett has shown consistent ability to play to level par which will help the Racer team on the course in the near future."I am excited to become a Racer and for my future at UNOH. My objective is to work hard both academically & athletically, while representing my university by playing at a high standard and to continue to improve my golf skills and become a strong athlete." Pritchett said. West continued, "Thomas will fit in well with the culture we have created at UNOH and within the Men's Golf program where expectations are high in the classroom, the community and on the golf links."
