Men's Golf Adds Signee to 2021 Class

The University of Northwestern Ohio's Men's Golf program is proud to announce the signing of Mikkel Pedersen to the class of 2021. Mikkel currently resides in Denmark and will graduate from Koege Gymnasium in 2021. He brings ample tournament experience and success with him to UNOH such as his 8th place finish last week at the Asserbo Open with rounds of 75(+3) and 71(-1). Other tournament success in 2020 saw Mikkel finish top 5 at the Club Championship at Smoerum Golf Club with scores of 74(+4) and 69(-1), a 2nd place finish in the Srixon/Cleveland Open with rounds of 71(-1) and 74(+3), as well as a 4th place finish at the Golf Experten Open with back-to-back rounds of 70 (+2).

Mikkel carries a 2 handicap with his lowest tournament score being a 68(-4) that was recorded at the Skovbo Golf Club Masters. "When you talk to Mikkel, his excitement for the game of golf and his desire to win as a team are contagious" said Coach Eric West. "He brings great energy which will translate to success in the classroom as well as on the golf links at UNOH."
