LIMA, OH - The WHAC's top offense was on full display Friday night in The Garage as UNOH ran away from Concordia for a massive 107-70 win over the Cardinals.
UNOH opened the game 14-4 and continued to pull away through the first half to a 44-28 lead at the break. The Racers were on fire in the second half shooting an incredible 64% from the field, 53% from outside and 92% from the free throw line as a team. Ten different Racers got in the scoring column as they pushed the lead up to as many as 41 with a 63-point half for their third 100-point performance of the season.
Ryan Archey was the game's leading scorer bagging 30 points on a 10-18 (56%) shooting night and a perfect 7-7 night from the free throw line. Alex Benson tallied 16 off the bench going 7-11 while Antonio King and Marquis Freeman added 13 and ten, respectively. King led the team on the boards with seven rebounds with Grant Pikkaart dishing out a game high six assists.
UNOH finished the game shooting 57% as a team knocking down 15 three-pointers with 24 assists, all program bests in the Westerlund Era. The Racers dominated on the boards pulling down 41 and allowing 30 pacing the game all night with 21 fastbreak points to just two for the Cardinals.
UNOH wraps up the regular season on the road next week with trips to Lawrence Tech and Siena Heights Wednesday and Saturday.
