FORT WAYNE, IN - (RV) Indiana Tech opened the night 14-0 and never looked back as they handed UNOH a loss for the second time this season, 98-79.
After giving up the first 14 points of the night, the Racers played even with the Warriors the rest of the first half trailing by 16 at halftime. Indiana Tech pushed the lead up to as many as 25 in the second but overall the half was almost even, 47-44, as UNOH couldn't overcome their slow start in a 98-79 loss.
Antonio King led the UNOH scoring with 17 points shooting 8-15 (53%) with eight rebounds, two assists and two steals. Malachi Black finished with 14 points and eight rebounds on 5-9 (56%) shooting while Alex Benson added 13 off the bench.
Indiana Tech finished 47% from the field as a team with UNOH shooting 40% and dominated from outside hitting 42% to 25% for the Racers. Turnovers were even at ten each but the rebound battle leaned heavily in favor of the Warriors 55-42.
UNOH will play their final home game of the regular season Friday night with Concordia visiting The Garage for a 7:30 tip.
