Racers Take Down Concordia 3-1

LIMA, OH - Wednesday night, UNOH volleyball avenged an early season road loss with a 3-1 win at home over Concordia. The Racers won the first two sets 25-16 and 25-17 before dropping set three 25-19. UNOH was able to fight off the Cardinals in the fourth scoring the final three points of the night to win 25-22. 

Gianna San Filippo led all players with 20.5 points, her seventh 20+ point outting. San Filipppo hit .314 with 15 kills and eleven block assists setting the program's single season block record with 146 this year (Meagan Enyart - 141 | 2010). Abigail Martin and Hannah Colquitt each chipped in twelve points on the night. Martin finished with ten kills and four block assists while Colquitt recorded eleven and two.

Savanna Reed tallied her third straight double-double and eighth of the season with 22 assists and ten digs. Leading WHAC libero Bailey Gregory recorded a game high 22 digs, her twelfth 20+ performance of the compaign.

"I thought we played well and excuted our defense tonight," said head coach Josh Kreiner. "Bailey was excellent again and Gianna is a special kid. A lot of different players did a lot of different things well tonight, but it always helps to have a brick wall in the middle."

UNOH will head up Route 30 for a tri-match Saturday at the Schaefer Center taking on host Indiana Tech at 12:00 PM followed by Fisk at 2:00 PM.
