LIMA, OH - UNOH baseball swept Lawrence Tech on Senior Day Saturday afternoon with an easy 9-2 win in game one and walking off game two 6-5. The pair of Racer wins combined with two losses by second place Concordia and a split by third place Indiana Tech pushes their advantage over the WHAC to three games.

UNOH controlled from start to finish in game one after taking an early 2-0 lead in the second inning. The Racers followed with one in the third, two in the fourth and another four in the fifth for a commanding 9-1 lead. The Blue Devils got their second run on a solo homer in the final frame but it was their only hit of the at bat giving UNOH a 9-2 victory.

Devon Tukes stepped up again and ripped his second home run of the game, this time scoring three runs, to cut into the lead. A walk and a single followed again putting runners on the corners before a ground ball that resulted in a double play did enough to tie the game at 5-5. The UNOH closer, Eliott Traver, took over the game in the eighth and shut down the Blue Devil offense facing the minimum through two innings and set up a game winning opportunity in the bottom of the ninth. The Racers put a runner in scoring position after a single and a walk and Fabian Romero finished the job with a two-out, walk off single to the right center gap.

Tukes led the team with a season high four RBI coming off his two home runs on a 2-4 game. Fabian Romero was th eonly other Racer with multiple hits finishing 2-5 with the game winning RBI.
