HENDERSON, TN - After defeating IU-Kokomo on Saturday, UNOH baseball fell 10-4 to the Cougars on day two of the Midwest Clash before rebounding with a 6-3 win over IU-South Bend to finish off the weekend.

The Cougars used two doubles and a single to get the first two runs of the game in top of the second inning. Back-to-back singles led off the home third for the Racers setting up the first one on a throwing error. Another single followed to put runners on the corners and Joskar Feliciano ripped a shot down the left field line that cleared the fence and put UNOH up 4-2 after three. IU-Kokomo plated a single run in both the fourth and the fifth while holding the Racers at bay to tie the game up at 4-4 after five. The Cougars blew the game open over the final two frames plating four and two, respectively, to make it eight-straight runs and a 10-4 win over UNOH.

Two walks and an error were responsible for the first two runs of game two as the Titans jumped in front in their first at bat. It was all Racers after that as they scored three in the home first and one in the second to take control 4-2 after two. UNOH continued to string together hits and put up their second crooked number in the fourth plating two more to go up 6-2. A single and a double led off the sixth for IU-South Bend as they got one run back but Eliott Traver entered in the seventh and shut down the comeback attempt to end the Midwest Clash with a win.

Sinjon Bobolia (1-0) was strong off the start to earn the win after five and two-thirds innings of work allowing three ones, just one earned, off five hits with five strikeouts and three walks. Nick Soller worked out of trouble for the final out in the sixth before Traver forced a strikeout, a fly out, and a ground out in the seventh to pick up his third save of the season.
